Roshan Davis is a producer for DC News Now. A Maryland-native, she grew up in Burtonsville and graduated from Towson University.
But the journalism bug bit Roshan early in her sophomore year in high school. She spent 3 years as a live news anchor for her high school’s broadcast media program. She’s always loved telling stories, and TV news provided the opportunity to really bring her stories to a much larger audience.
She continued to pursue journalism in college and interned for WBAL-TV during her senior year. She strives to act as an example of what journalism stands for: truth and accountability.
In addition to journalism, Roshan studied film and American Sign Language. She’s a proud alum of Phi Sigma Pi National Honor Fraternity.
When she’s not reporting, you can find Roshan playing with her dog Buster (who’s made his own debut on WDVM News!), watching film deconstruction videos, or reading about entertainment news.
If you have a story for her, follow her on Facebook or Twitter, or reach out to her via email at rdavis@localdvm.com.
