Justin Mitchell has been charged with several charges of possession. According to a press release, the jury was not able to agree on a verdict on a charge of firearm drug trafficking crime. A mistrial was declared on that charge.
In June 2017, Mitchell’s landlord smelled a strong odor of marijuana and entered the room. They found large amounts of marijuana in which deputies responded and obtained a searched warrant.
A total of 793.9 grams of marijuana, 990 bars of xanax, a bag of contained anabolic steroids, a shotgun, a glock 19 handgun, a scale and baggies were found.
Sentencing is set for April.
