UPDATE, Dec. 22, 3:04 p.m. — Police said the man who died was Charles Joseph Reynolds, 62, of Silver Spring, Md. He had been shot.

A reward of up to $10,000 is available for information that leads to the arrest of the person or people responsible for the killing. Callers may remain anonymous.


MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Police said they were investigating the death of a man after someone found his body in a parking garage Wednesday night.

The Montgomery County Department of Police said officers were at the parking garage at Wayne Avenue and Fenton Street around 9 p.m. When they arrived, police found a man’s body in a stairwell. they said there was trauma to his body, but they did not specify what kind of trauma it was.

The police department said the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Baltimore would conduct an autopsy to determine the cause and manner of death. 

Police said they would release more information as they received it.
