LANHAM, Md. (WDVM) — One man admitted to shooting his brother in Lanham, Maryland on Friday Morning, Prince George’s County Police said.

Police said that 29-year-old Dominick Pailin of Lanham was arrested as a suspect in the shooting death of 39-year-old Bryan Pailin of Morningside.

Police responded to the 9900 block of Greenbelt Road around 8:15 a.m. for the reported shooting. Upon arrival, they found Bryan suffering from upper-body trauma. He was transported to a hospital where he was pronounced dead, police say.

A statement said that Dominick “admitted to shooting his brother during an on-going dispute” during an interview. He is being charged with first and second-degree murder as well as other related charges.
