A new exhibit at the Miller House Museum in downtown Hagerstown is enticing visitors to step outside their comfort zones.
According to historians, from the earliest days of Washington County, domestic help was widely used.
This kind of domestic help included indentured servants, slaves and even some paid individuals.
The new exhibit lets visitors follow the daily routine of a 19th century house staff, and experience the life of a domestic servant.
It runs till September 29. Click here for tickets.
