WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Thousands of people are experiencing power outages due to the severe weather in Maryland and D.C. on Monday.
Strong winds, hail and thunderstorms have caused over 2,000 Pepco customers to lose service as of 6:40 p.m.
According to Pepco, the following counties are experiencing loss of service:
- Washington, D.C.: 75 customers are without service
- Montgomery County: 1,127 customers are without service
- Prince George’s County: 814 customers are without service
