WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — After two years of COVID caused cancellations, The National Independence Day Parade returned to Washington DC. Thousands of people from around the world lined Constitution Avenue to see the marching bands, floats, and massive patriotic balloons. Jimmy Alexander was there and spoke to tourists that were celebrating birthdays, wedding anniversaries, and The Fourth of July.
