The Strasburg Chamber of Commerce held their 37th Annual Mayfest.

The event is always on the third weekend in May and everyone is welcome to come out and get their purple and teal on. There’s music, street dances and a beer garden along with a children’s fun fest zone.

The big parade is on Saturday, there are train rides for kids on Sunday and all weekend long there are several vendors lined up and down east king street.

“It’s a good experience, I get to actually debut some of this art stuff. The energy that everybody brought to this table was very positive to me so I can keep going,” said Mayfest art vendor, Luis Torres.

The weekend kicks off on Friday night and wraps up on Sunday after the duck race.
