WASHINGTON (WDVM) — DC Mayor Muriel Bowser is providing a COVID-19 situational update Thursday morning.

During the event, the Mayor also reflected on the year after the Jan. 6 Capitol riots.

The mayor advised residents who received the Pfizer vaccine to get a booster five months after the initial series.

DC residents 12-15 years old are now given the green light to receive the Pfizer vaccine booster for those who received their initial series on or before Aug. 6. This includes at District walk-up sites.
