Even with the threat of rain and thunderstorms, thousands flooded the streets in the neighborhoods of Shaw, Dupont, and Logan Circle to see the Capital Pride Parade on Saturday, and Pennsylvania Ave on Sunday, for the Capital Pride Festival. 

Jimmy Alexander was there for the fun; he spoke to pride goers, and some first-timers, including the President of the Washington Commanders, Jason Wright, and former player, Fred Smoot.
