WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department said a driver died Friday morning after a vehicle went off a roadway in Southeast.
DC Fire and EMS initially tweeted about the incident in the 2400 block of Alabama Ave. SE near Suitland Parkway at 12:25 a.m. At the time of the tweet, it said that the driver of the vehicle was trapped inside it. A follow-up tweet from DC Fire and EMS described the person’s injuries as life-threatening.
By early Friday afternoon, no other information about the wreck had been released.
