WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department said that a man was shot in Southwest D.C. on Friday afternoon.
Police said that at about 6:41 p.m., they responded to the 100 block of Galveston for the report of a shooting.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found a man who had been shot.
He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
