WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — The Metropolitan Police Department said a teen was shot in Southeast D.C. on Sunday afternoon.

MPD said it was dispatched to the 5000 block of Ivory Walters Lane for a report of a shooting.

When police arrived at the scene, they found a teen who had been shot. The teen was conscious and breathing and was transported to the hospital.
