WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — There have been several performances over the past season and a new permanent JFK exhibit will be unveiled to the public later this week, all of them helping to celebrate 50 years of The Kennedy Center.

The final event of the 50th anniversary celebration is Leonard Bernstein’s MASS. It’s returning 51 years after its world premiere during the Kennedy Centers opening gala in 1971.

MASS conductor James Gaffigan stopped by our DC News Now studio to talk with our Taniya Wright about the performance.
