WASHINGTON (DC News Now) — Theatre Washington supports and celebrates the achievements and advancement of the Washington DC theater community.

It has several programs including Theatre Week and the Helen Hayes Awards. Amy Austin, the President of Theatre Washington stopped by our DC News Now studio to talk about the organization and the upcoming awards ceremony.

The Awards will be celebrated with a ceremony on Monday, May 22, 2023, at The Anthem.
