A Charles Town man was sentenced after he shot over 30 bullets into the house of his ex-girlfriend and her family back in 2016.

Devin Collins, 22, is being charged with two counts of first-degree attempted murder and 16 counts of endangerment. Police found an AR 15, 16 shell casings, brass knuckles and over 250 rounds of ammunition on Collins.

The ex-girlfriend and her family testified in court that it was “a night of terror,” so they asked the court to sentence Collins to the maximum time possible in fear of possible retaliation.

Collins was sentenced to 61 years in prison.
