The Eastern Panhandle Transit Authority is expanding it’s services to accommodate the growing area.
Today, officials unveiled their first ever bus shelter in Berkeley County.
The shelter is located between Shepherd University and Valley College in the Aikens Center.
Officials said the expansion project has been in the works since 2015 in an effort to make traveling easier.
The new shelter offers protection from the elements of Mother Nature and a central location for bus pickups.
Officials said they want community feedback to continue to move in the right direction.
