Amy Gipes and Kevin Rouner, who were charged with a plotted murder in Chambersburg, will both spend the rest of their lives in prison, after the ruling was handed-down on Thursday.

Gipes and Rouner were both sentenced to life in prison for killing Gipes’ husband, David, back in 2013. David Gipes was shot and killed on July 18 of 2013, and both were found guilty of first degree murder back in October.

Judge Angela Krom sentenced both of them to life in prison for first degree murder.

Gipes was also sentenced to a minimum of three months to five years in prison for hindering apprehension and anywhere from 20 to 40 years in state prison for conspiracy of murder and solicitation.
