A Berkeley County woman accused of stabbing another woman at a party pleaded guilty Monday.

According to court documents, Shatarra Stroman and Victoria Fields, the victim, were severely intoxicated at a party when a fight escalated.

Witnesses said they began arguing in the living room, and when Fields walked to the kitchen, Stroman followed behind her and grabbed a knife from the countertop. She then stabbed Fields in the back of the head.

Stroman pleaded guilty to second-degree murder and is facing two to ten years in jail.

Stroman will have her sentencing hearing August 10.
