A Cessna Citation crashed in southwestern Virginia Sunday afternoon. Rescue crews say there were no survivors. Moments before the crash, a loud "boom" noise ricocheted across the DMV -- spanning as far east as Annapolis, Maryland and as far west as points in Northern Virginia. Defense officials confirmed the noise was caused by F-16 fighter jets going supersonic as they intercepted the Cessna jet, which was unresponsive and flying in restricted airspace.
