Loudoun County said people who were part of an animal rescue group faced charges after humane officers found more than 100 animals at a home that had terrible living conditions for the animals.

The Loudoun County School Board voted to hire Dr. Aaron Spence as the new superintendent of Loudoun County Public Schools. Spence comes to the school division from Virginia Beach City Public Schools where he began serving as superintendent in 2014.

WASHINGTON (DC News Now) -- This week, Virginia Governor Glenn Youngkin announced he's sending 100 soldiers and resources to the border. The deployment comes at the request of Texas Governor Gregg Abbott who asked numerous state leaders for aid to handle fentanyl and human trafficking at the border.
